Radiance of Résistance tells the story of two Palestinian girls, Janna Ayyad, 9, and Ahed Tamimi, 14, who live under Israeli military occupation in the West Bank town of Nabi Saleh. Ayyad has been called “the youngest journalist in Palestine.” Tamimi won the Handala Courage Award from Turkey when she was 13 and met with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. She also recently gained notoriety as she was arrested and jailed for eight months for slapping an Israeli soldier. This film takes an intimate look at the girls’ everyday lives and their importance as the new generation of Palestinian non-violent resistance. [59 minutes]
