Imprisoning a Generation follows the stories of four young Palestinians (ages 11-14) who have been detained and imprisoned under the Israeli military and political systems. Motaz, Marwan, Nooran and Shadi, along with their families, detail their experiences of detainment in the hands of Israeli settlers, soldiers, and interrogators. In addition, the film helps audiences digest aspects of the Israeli occupation which create systems of imprisonment more broadly within Palestinian society. Because for those living under a military occupation, imprisonment extends far beyond the prison walls. Visit www.anemoia.net to view a trailer of the film.
